Shipping to Brazil: what to know
Importers in Brazil must be authorised in Siscomex (known as RADAR), and imports are declared through Siscomex, which is moving to the new DUIMP declaration under the Portal Único. Many products also need licences from agencies such as ANVISA or MAPA. Brazil levies several federal and state taxes on imports.
Mistakes in Brazilian documents are expensive to fix after arrival, so we review invoices, packing lists and product descriptions before the cargo leaves origin.
